The "Kiwi" 15cc Four-stroke Petrol Engine.

The Kiwi is one of Edgar T Westbury's most "developed" designs. Originating in as an unnamed design in the 1930's, it was improved, modified, and finally revised and re-introduced in 1960 as the Kiwi Mk II. Apart from ETW's own versions, it has been seccussfully replicated by countless others around the planet. I'm indebted to Phil Coleman and Nick Jones for the material contained in the links here. Someday, sooner or later, I intend to add my own contribution to the world's Kiwi population. Until then we have two long-time readers of Model Engine News to thank for the generous contributions below.
