Notes:

The Reeves engine comes from Britian of the late 40's. Both die cast and sand cast versions were made in 5 and 6cc capacity. There is no way to tell the capacity, except by measurement of the piston. To further complicate matters, the engine was offered complete, or as a D.I.Y. kit of parts. Externally, appearence and finish is pedestrian, but according to Bert (who owns the example seen here), the internal workmanship and fits are exceptional. Bert says that he read that Reeves guarenteed their engines would "hold compression" overnight, or they would refund your money.
