Background

David: These engines were built by a very small firm, which apparently had no more than four production staff. Gladieux, Maraget and Malfait all contributed in their turn. The 60 Ignition with the radial mount is a bit ugly in its own attractive way. Mine is not a particularly good example, having several bodgy repro parts, the result of a trade gone wrong! I remember a C/L scale Bowers FlyBaby powered with one of these which won the NSW State Champs many years ago. Wonder what happened to the engine?
